My "beater" was found on a Table in Tulsa quite a few years ago. It had a hole in the top strap but otherwise appeared quite sound.
A little "restoration" work, a tall front sight and a steel, XR3-RED grip frame got me a real sweet 7-1/2" .44 Flattop shooter.
