2dogs, CDNN has some Trijicon 8moa red dots and mounts on sale at some good prices. Maybe they got one that will fit your #5.
I’m also trying to decide what I want to red dot next.

Serialsolver,
I'm seriously considering the leupold Delta Point. I like the idea of having the ability to use the tip of the triangle for a precise aiming point. Depending on light conditions, location of the sun, the glasses I'm wearing, i have experience occasional dot flare (fuzzy or distorted dot, ) with the JPoint and the Burris. This is more annoying than anything else. I would buy the Leupold in a minute if I knew the "flare" was eliminated.

Paul, my research on the Leupold Delta Point shows that the "point" is pretty IMprecise.... Kinda fuzzy actually. Might look at one before you spring for one....
LOL, serial solver you are a card and a half! Im going to have to get a custom piggy back mount to put my dot sight on my laser on my topstrap!

Paul, if my wish list did not exceed my cash flow I would get a delta point. I like the bigger window but I would stay with the dot. When these dot sights became the rage our swat team got a few of the triangle sights. They found them ok at longer ranges but at shorter ranges the guys had a hard time making precise shots. For example they could hit a man size target no problem but to hit a post it note on the same target at close range was harder with the triangle. They kept the sights they had but changed the ones on backorder to dots. I have tried both and prefer the dots. Just a small sampling of users and my opinion.

Two dogs, have ya one of them three way picatinny cheese grater rails made up fer the topstrap. Then mount yer red dot sight, lazor and flash light on it. Yeah that'll make that #5 THE ultra pig gun.
