I should have stayed out of the pawn shop this afternone. I hadn't seen anything I couldn't live wothout and was fixing to leave. I was walking past the last display case and cought something in the corner of my eye. It was a S&W 17-3 with a pinned 8 3/8" barrel, Target hammer and smooth target trigger. The guys over at the S&W forum said it was made in 74/75. I'm judging the condition on this thing at about 95% and when he told me what he wasted, I almost broke my arm getting the mooney out. Bill

If any of the pawnshops around me had anything like that, they'd want $1500 for it. Mostly they have junk and still want NIB MSRP+ for the guns.

Chris We have a pawn shop in the next town that still makes most of it's money from the old fasion way, they make it off pawn loans. If he gets a gun off pawn, it might cost you alittle more than if he gets it in trade.(he doesn't have to tie as much of his own money in the trades) In fact, it's where I order all of my new guns from, because he'll order you anything for 10% over his cost. It's a great place. Bill

Excellent. I would like one in that length to match my 629. How do the target grips feel on that gun?
