FWIW nobearsyet's comment about the inards of his beater vaquero got me to thinking... Now I haven't shot cowboy but I have watched them on TV I have listened to the cowboy hotdawgs talk about how much shooting they do too.... We are going to have to learn to watch out for good deals on these guns and also figure in the cost of new internals on any deal we make....

In all actuality my worries are probably unfounded, I shot it the other day and there seems to be no real problems other than it spits a bit more lead out of the BC gap than I'd like it to, but I was shooting full wadcutters so draw your own conclusions there. I am going to swap out the guts, mainly because I want the half cock and Power makes the parts, that and I want the cylinder to psin beackwards when I miss a chamber, But in all actuality I think it's probably fine, and the owner told me it's got about 10000 throug hit with out a hitch, and the price was right
