The "poor man's trigger job" seems to get a lot of ink & we've all done it at one time or the other but for me at least its not the answer. Lifitng one leg of the spring off the hook will help, no doubt, but it will not make a bad trigger into a good trigger, it will only lighten the trigger. It hangs on 2 posts for a reason. Better to have it fixed right, fighting a bad trigger isn't fun.

All in good time Dick. Got the gun $$, got the ammo $$, took it to the range $ and got the deer $$$. Put in a call to Mike Barranti $$$, and some trigger refining next in line. Might not be the proper order but I just didn't have time to send it off and still practice enough to go hunting with it.
I probably won't get to hunt outside of maybe a hog hunt in FL in 2011, actually it'll be 01/2012. So there's time to get it done if the money is there.
Take care, Zac
