What pic to post today.....Here I am entrusting brother Boge Quinn with my Harton #5 sixgun. Jeff and Boge are going to do a GunBlast.com article on it. Boge is also going to apply his considerable artistic talent and scrimshaw my ivory stocks with a Mexican Eagle and Snake emblem. I know Boge will pour his heart and soul into that scrimshaw. I couldnt be luckier.
"I am finished doing what I swore an oath to God 28 years ago to never do again. I've created, "something that kills people." And in that purpose, I was a success. I've done this because, philosophically, I am sympathetic to your aim. I can tell you with no ego, this is my finest sword. If on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut." - Hattori Hanzo
Are you guys kidding me? Growing up with my big brother Henry was like having my own personal John Wayne! He is an amazing man. Dont take my word for it. Ask Flats how Henry completely and deftly dismantled a deer with a 2 inch Cold Steel blade last winter. The man handles a horse like a Commanche Warrior. When he talks to me to this day I still say "yes or no Sir" to him. On my other side is my Jake. One of the youngest Sgt.'s in the USMC. A hero all on his own. Currently in charge of a platoon of Wounded Warriors in San Diego, Cal. Here is another pic.....
The "3 Amigos" for sure! You won't find a nicer, more polite young man than Jake & a very fine shot I might add.......... and Henry likes peach pie, thats my kind of guy! ;D
Well, Dick has gone and done it now!! If Henry is a pie man then you HAVE to bring him to KS with you!! Growing up in South MS did a few things for me...you were taught to revere and respect the Lord, you better say your sirs and ma'ams to anyone older than you pretty much, better heed the warnings of momma and your grandma, and you should always learn to bake great pies as they are really appreciated. What can I say, I was a good student of all the above so when Henry is up this way, tell him to bring a fork!!
