FYI Since John L raised his prices abit might not be a bad buy . Cost of gun+ 2200 base conversion+300/350 bbl band + grips @ $/350 etc,etc could be at $3000.00 + and to boot a long wait in getting it.

I would ask for more pictures on that one for sure, especially the bottom of the mainframe in front of the trigger guard. John's gun are usually marked with his trademark on the left side and "ruger bisley" on the right. Also has a recessed case head cylinder which John doesn't usually do. I saw one recently but it was marked in all the usual places that John marks them so I know that he has made at least one Unless this is a very early one, I don't know. But, I think John marked all of his guns on the bottom of the frame to be sure. The stocks also look like add ons later judging from the fitting on the front strap. I would definitely check before dropping 2 grand on it

I think it is just a indicator of the quality of the other pictures. New price is better... Might make a decent addition to the 50 bore "set" Sure would like to see better focused pictures. Looks like a Kings6 School of Photography student

Ok, now it's a Jack Huntington built gun and the base bid has come down. Bill

I thought the lettering looked like Huntington's. So does the front sight base (way thicker than any linebaugh guns I've owned) with the red insert
