I always thought about a set of consecutive 45 Colts wit hone being a 44mag set up kind of like a left hand gun right hand gun kind of thing.

The parts box is one stainless Bisley conversion set short. Midway can correct that pretty quick.. Sent a note to Cary C asking for black micarta and if it was appropriate to fit grips to new unfitted stainless Bisley frames. I am thinking my usual flat bottom, round corners, and just maybe black eagles on these.... ;D
Cary says yes... Just got the second GF on order.... Parts box has triggers but no Blackhawk Bisley hammers... They are out of stock at Midway. I plan to go ahead without hammers and get the grip frames sent on to Cary...

Two NIB stainless Bisley grip frames headed west to Cary C's this morning... They will come back with black micarta... Guess I'd better get to looking a little harder for a set of Bisley hammers now...

Got a couple of Bisley hammers ordered! Just about the time I completed the order I thought about free spin pawls.... Hate it when that happens... Of course I crawfished with with Cary C too.... I decided that I needed black eagles in the micarta for this project....

Let me guess..... One is going to become a 356 GNR? This consecutive serial number SBH venture is becoming a money pit! Bisley grip frames, CLC grips, hammers, triggers, front sight blades, rear sights, base pins, free spin pawls, and we still have basically stock guns.... Haven't touched the chamber throats, forcing cones, or muzzle crown... Wonder if Reeder would bore one to 429 GNR? Maybe have Stroh Taylor throat them?

Limit your request to services that Reeder specifies and you will be good to go... My 300 GNR conversion was done in a week... Those ad hoc special tasks can be production killers...
A pair of new Bisley hammers showed up yesterday... As soon as Cary C works his magic with the grip frames and micarta we will be ready convert these jewels! Might be a good time to ask Gallagher about fitting the grip frames up huh?
