Dale, Congratulations. I picked up my first USFA a week or two back and love it!! Sounds like it's the same Rodeo as you captured. If you have not tried shooting off a rest, you may wish to do so. My gun was ON the money at 22 yards with one of the loads I chose to try. (255gr LRN-FP -- 8gr Unique -- WLP --)
Enjoy your great gun!!!

last two USFAs i got both shot left. it simply required tightening the barrel a tiny bit more. its one of two things that they just can't seem to get right all the time (the other is that its often hard to get a hold of them). i sent mine back to USFA and each was returned in under two weeks, perfectly regulated. and if purchased new, they have also been willing to cover shipping both directions. you can read about my USFA Storekeeper story here: singleactions.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sas&action=display&thread=3208&page=1might be best to email or call gary granger directly because, as mentioned above, leaving emails or messages at the "front desk" never seem to get answered. try this number 860 296-7441 ext 13

Peacemaker; Thanks MUCH for running the math for me. It looks like it'll be a rather easy fix, then. I have a buddy with proper barrel tools, so it'll just take some time. We'll get "her" done.
coyote; I would rather regulate it myself. As I mentioned before, proper regulation for one person may or may not be correct for another - lot of things in play there.
Thanks for the information, good people. It IS appreciated.

Thanks. And in case you are wondering, you will need to remove about .007" off the front sight for every inch you want to raise the point of impact at 25 yards. Turn, then file. Good luck.

I bought a used 4 5/8" Rodeo, and the sights were dead on. It will shoot a group like a FA, and had a good trigger pull. One fine gun, and easy to carry to!
