I'm going to have to try that stuff after my bulk buy of bronze bore brushes (bought 100 of each size a few years ago and got them ridiculously cheap) runs out, or just low

Thanks for the replies. We were out of town all weekend and spent yesterday recovering. I have the copper Chore Boy scrubbers and have used them. Just never been sure that they get down into the corners of the grooves. As I work up loads for this gun, I'm sure that I'll leave some lead in the barrel. I will probably go both ways. I did find the .475 brushes in the Midway catalog. A .45 jag should work OK with double patches.

Just use a big patch and double it over, I actually make my own patches and can tell you from experience that old socks work suprisingly well, just make sure you was hthem first and use those ones you can never find mates too.
