Thanks for the info Lee. I have been looking for a Chimney Rock in 44 Mag but no success. I do have a couple of Ruger Old Model 3 screw Flat tops for trade ? ? ? ?
One question: Were the Sevilles and Abilene silhouette models produced differently than standard models?
Thanks. Dan

Seville Sllhouettes just had longer barrels. Abilene Silhouettes that we assembled by Mossberg used upgraded sights and over-sized grips (pictured below): -Lee www.singleactions.com

???Hi, I am Harleeart and I have owned my ABILENE for over tweenty yrs. I need a trigger for this 44 mag. and need to find a person with information about these hand guns. Any one out there that is able to help me out with this would greately be appricated. What are the symptoms? Are you missing the entire trigger or is something on the trigger definitely broken? The half cock notch would no longer engage on mine and at the full cock had a dangerous hair trigger. I thought something on the hammer or trigger was broken. Turned out the trigger return spring was broken(a common problem from what I've heard), and Alan Harton was kind enough to make a better one for me out of music wire and install it, fixing the problem. He also said that a malfunctioning trigger return spring can be the cause of the heavy turn lines on the cylinder.
