Still plenty of Navy Arms Ubertis on the used market, but Navy has not imported a Uberti in about two years. They still have pictures on the website. I am traveling to Nashville this morning to meet a fellow and buy one of the Navy Founder's Models in 45 Colt. I love the case-hardening and bright blue. I I also have a Taylor's 44 Russian 3.5 inch Schofield on the way.

I rode to Nashville with Jeff to pick-up his Schofield, and MAN it is a beautiful sixgun! I was wanting one already, but this one has me lit up!

I never should've opened this thread. Always wanted a Schofield. After seeing Jeff's I now REALLY want one. Problem is the piggy bank isn't full enough, at least not yet.
Thanks for the picture Jeff.

I found me one, too! A blued Navy 5" 45 Colt, from a nice young lady in Florida who's selling off some of her late father's guns. Maybe not as purty as Jeff's Founder's Model, but mighty nice I think. I like the shorter barrel. johnnu - I'm still interested if you want to get rid of that ol' spitter...
