Ok newrugersafan, so the WFDA 45 is first. I have 3 that look like the 2nd one, Serial Numbers 45-1010T, 45-1031T and 45-1032T. So what number is that little cutie? I had a line on 45-1034T but it was already sold by the time I called the PHX dealer. All 3 were in AZ still.
hyvltge,
Back in New York dad tried orange and yellow front sight inserts. We machined them out of real thin plexiglass sheets. That was before the insert powder was ever available, at least to us.

A plain-Jane 44 mag. The blue finish on this one is much like that on a new Ruger...that is, not bright and shiny at all. But then again, it was sort of thrown in to sweeten the pot when I was buying a guy's TLA. A bonus Seville, so to speak.

majorcap, Both of those Seville's are very early production. No front sight inserts. Also do not let hyvltge see the 41, he really gets excited over the 41 magnum

The base pin is also shorter and a smaller diameter for that to happen. Guess the old man had some good idea's back then? I have a 357 Maxi just like that. Serial Number 357M-2051, the 50th one made and New In Box ;D

And actually, John, the 41 does have a lime-green colored insert. But, me being something of a "customizer", I took care of that.
