I like the Nelson conversion so much I have two - one open sights, and one optics ready. My lowers are just factory stock (one Colt A1 and one Ruger light weight) both have had trigger jobs. . The Colt .  . The Ruger - my gopher gun .  . The older I get, the more I shoot 22s - love em all! . Paul |

CCI subsonic segmented HPs - don't need subsonic in handguns (high speed generally subsonic in short pistol bbls) but they are great in a rifle. .  . Paul |

My go to ammo with the Nelson conversion (this is my 3rd) has been CCI Standard Velocity. While accuracy is required to shoot good NRA Precision Pistol scores, 100% reliability comes first. Seems like the Nelson conversions come with 3 recoil springs. I'll stick this one in the Ransom Rest and post some numbers soon.
