I'd probably invest in a Spohr Model 69 copy, especially if they developed a clean lightweight QD mount for optics.
The mainspring design looks like a real improvement.
The front sights look goofy, but that can probably be fixed.

They fit in a dovetail type slot like a cz pistol

"Ramen is responsible for more custom guns than most would think.
I am going to have to remember that! If it works, it works!

They act like they want to sell these guns, but make no provisions for those seeking to purchase to order one. There is no price list, or model number provided for the 44 magnum. Also, they hint at polygonal rifling but make no mention of actual rifling or show pictures of the lands/grooves inside of the barrel. I was interested, but if it is this hard to order one, maybe it would be harder to get any customer service if need be.

If you watched the video you would have heard that they will be adding them to the website in the coming weeks…..and then will begin to take orders. All of their firearms are quite easy to order via the website Spohrguns.com I will be at shot show range day helping them demonstrate the new 44. The barrel specs are also available and they are quite responsive to email questions. Customer service…..they have that set up in the USA as well…..to handle everything from customization to repair.

I'd definitely like to see and handle one. A 5" 629 variant in black is of interest as is a 4.25" 69 variant in black.

The five inch was also what peeked my interest. I did watch the video, but there was not enough information about the specs. of the gun to make a decision. Going to their web site was no help either. One of the main red flags raised for me was the owner hinting it was not designed to shoot cast bullets. One missing detail also was whether the shroud could be removed by the owner and a different aftermarket barrel like a Douglas installed by the gun owner like a Dan Wesson. If that is the case I might be interested. If not then a "jacketed bullet only" shooter is of no interest to me.

No the barrel/shroud is not designed to be user removed. You won’t need to “upgrade” your barrel to a Douglas…. I am their pro shooter here in the states….I am trying to answer your questions…..I have many blogs, videos, and posts out there of their guns in action.

Great! So what is the model number of the new five inch 44 magnum and when can I find out its price and order information? As stated in my previous post and in the video….the 44 magnum versions will be listed with prices and options on the website in the coming weeks. You can contact their importer and get on the wait list. mmbimports.com/I’ll have the first one in the USA in hand at shot show and begin my testing after shot show range day. I expect it to do just as well as the 357 models have done.

The hidden cost is still hidden. The shipping to 768xx postal code. a Tariff? Any other fee? So far with sales tax and FFL transfer fees it is about $4125, but that is still not the ballpark. The hidden fees are going to make or break this one for me. One question is the specs say the barrel is polygonal with a 300mm twist length. From reading what the inventor said in some of his previous promotions, I was lead to believe the polygonal was different from barrels with twisted rifling. From that, I got that the polygons were straight. So, my question is do the polygons twist or are they straight" and if they twist does that mean they twist at a rate of one twist in 300mm?

It roughly converts to a 1/12 twist. Yes you can shoot lead in it as I do. The only other “fee” you have is your dealer transfer and shipping from the east coast. The 22LR series is also available for pre order now. spohrguns.com/spohr-revolver_products/l562-standard-6-0-22lr/
