... Believe it was Mike Jordan at Winchester who told me .375 brass is made to higher tensile. As competitors across several disciplines can tell you, all brass, and it’s not just a dimensional caper. ...
A few months BEFORE Starline started making 357 Max brass, I e-mailed and asked "what they had against the 357 Max." Frustrated with Remington's hit or miss production schedule.
Hunter Pilant replied back and explained that they could not use 357 Mag raw material for 357 Max brass, because Max brass was of a different composition to accommodate the higher pressure. He then told me that since they were gearing up to make 300 BLK brass, that 357 Max brass could be made from that - and that they had to be able to get at least TWO cartridges from one type of raw material for it to be cost-effective to produce.
I've wondered if it was going to be the case for 360BH brass too, but did not want to bug him again. I'm pretty sure they'll be making it sometime soon anyway. Watching and learning here - I'm using a closed-breach SSK50 frame for my 360, IF it comes to be, and one of my thoughts (again) is that if times get even tougher - even just for me personally - I think it will be a good 357 Max substitute with some slower powders than currently being tested. Sure, it would be less pressure, less velocity, but still in the 357 Max realm and should widen one's range of options when trying to feed a rifle.

I was planning on using the 180 and 200 grain molds I bought for the Max. I dont have the numbers for them in front of me.
So, you HAVE moulds for it?
If not, let me know. I could donate a few variations...
OK, sorry. Just noticed I have a PM.
I will respond there, but we'll get this project rolling.

Here are some of the ones I'm hoping work well in the 360BH. Just a sampling of what's on-hand. RDO 360-190, plain-base or gas-checked NOE 360-180 WFN, plain-base or gas-checked RCBS 35-200, gas-checked.
I'm very curious to see how the PC'd plain-bases fair at higher velocity/pressure. The RDO 190 does well to 1800 fps with a GC and 45/45/10 from the 357 Mag in a carbine. but I usually don't push it that hard. 1600+ out of the 357 Mag is plenty. Haven't shot the 357 Max in so long, I don't even remember.
There's a 4C NOE 360-180 WFN with HP/cup-point/solid pins for sale that I'm trying to ignore... Sure would be a versatile mould for 38 special, up through 360BH/35 Rem/35-30/30.

Going to be really hard not to buy another Henry BBS now that I know they make them in 360 too. Uggg…I already have a brand new Henry 45 Colt I’m planning to break in this fall. My excuse will be that I live in a straight wall state of course.

Clements and I had a similar conversation this morning. I've got Three Rifles and a 14" Contender in 30-30 Ackley. He recently added a TC Carbine so chambered and has been working up loads. He encountered higher pressures when using Starline Brass. After measuring, he found Starline Brass thicker both at the web and sidewalls. He backed off the powder and the problem went away while ballistics equalled Remington and Winchester Brass. I may need to add a batch of Starline Brass to wildcat... Sounds like a good idea for me as well.

Dangit!
It was available a short time back, but a friend had just sent me over a hundred once-fired cases he'd saved for several years, so I passed. I also only had one mouth to feed from that trough at the time.
Hindsight...
250 cases for $100is not a bad deal at all.
