Tempting! I am an early 1974 model, and it would be cool to have one from the year of my birth.

It's just like the one that I purchased a short while back. But mine is a convertible and had no box or papers. Still haven't shot it since I've been too busy moving. But I do love it as it makes a great companion to my old model from 1971.

IIRC, THE EARLY NM's HAD RECESSED CYLINDERS, I HAVE AN EARLY NM SHORTY 45 COLT/45 ACP CONVERTIBLE ON WHICH JRH MODIFIED THE 45 ACP CYLINDER TO ACCEPT THE AUTO RIM, NIIICE GUN.

I have one that is similar with the recessed cylinder. It is a nice shooter! I need to check the heat of manufacture.
I also have an old model 357 that is supposedly a 73 model, from before the change. I should check that one too. That would be neat as I too was born in 73, but that wasn’t the reason I bout it.

I'm surprised it has not sold, as I sit here fondling my early 74 NM 45 Colt Blackhawk.
