I don't see that this has drawn any commentary here or at RF. After years of 2020's retail drought for these, hundreds say of new .44 spl NM Bisley flattops, and then also .44 and .357/9 standard flattops on GB.
Stainless seems most of what they did. 800 ish prices.

$800 on Bud’s website, how much are they running on GB ? One review praised the fit and finish, the barrel/cylinder gap, the forcing cone and the chamber measurements. Maybe Ruger is paying a little more attention to those attributes ?

I regret not buying a 5.5" 357 Magnum Stainless Flattop. Given the chance, I'll fix that.
I'm truly glad to see these popping up...

When covid crap hit,, they, like so many other places,, had a LOT of their workforce "out" & not capable of building stuff. Now that the workforce has been SLOWLY built back up,, they are trying to catch up with demands.

I just can't help thinking what a wonderful 38-40 those Flattop 357s would make...

A few weeks sgo I bought a new 357 New Vaquero that had excessive headspace that caused light strikes, and the trigger was locking way before the cylinder. Sent it in, they replaced the barrel, cylinder, transfer bar, pawl, and did an action job. I got it with 0.000” b/c gap, transfer bar pinch, and I guess they threw in a high polish blue, to include mirror polish on the trigger and hammer. Not my cup of tea. Sold it.

I don't have a NM flattop yet, but it looks like it's time for a 44sp Bisley while they are available and I have a bunch of overtime coming up.

I wish I could afford to snag several of the stainless and blued Bisleys in 44 Special. Use one stainless for the field and put the others away for a rainy day, a custom 5-shot in 480 Ruger or whatever, or as an investment. It seems like it's been only a few years ago when I bought my blue Bisleys in 44 Spl for around $400.
I'd go with a variety in both 4-5/8" and 5-1/2" to cover all the preferences.

The Bisley 44 Special is most certainly the crown jewel of the Flattops.
Usually quite good from the factory and are excellent base guns.
Right now, Buds and Guns.com both have them in stock!!!

I agree. I almost regret picking up a 44 mag Bisley instead of a 44 spl FT Bisley. I couldn't help myself, the price was too good.

I remember pawn shops being full of used Blackhawks and S Blackhawks for $250 or less. Should have snagged a few dozen.
