They were on the gun when I found and bought it at the LGS. The grain is beautiful and the checkering is pretty fine, so grippy but not painful. I haven't had them off the gun to see if there is any branding on the insides.

The way I got my ACP cylinder was by scrounging through the “oddball junk” boxes at a gun store which had been in business a long time. There it was, apparently never fired. Sometimes they even fit perfectly. This one didn’t, but a good gunsmith fitted it to my Vaquero. It shoots better than the 45 colt cylinder. Cost me $50 and the same for fitting. Like getting a new gun for a hundred bucks.
