FA 97 Round Butt Grip Frame

I have a line on a good deal for a Freedom Arms 97.  If I got it I would be interested in converting it to a round butt and making some grips for it.  I'm trying to keep the package compact in a cross draw.
Does anyone have pics of the FA round butt grip frame with the grips removed, compared to a standard grip frame?  Is it the rounded the same as a standard, but just machined into a radius, or is the round butt grip frame it's own?  I'm concerned that there may not be enough material in that corner to machine the radius and maintain it's integrity.
I searched for images but can't find what I looking for.

Mine was done by Gary Reeder. It's his gunfighter grip frame and you will love it. Sadly I let it go.

It's the same gripframe modified by rounding it and the grip panels.
