I have the quick change kits but don't currently use them because I like to shoot black powder. I am interested in a loading press for my percussion cylinder. "Black Dawge" used to make some; wish I had got one when they were available. Anyone have any suggestions? I always figured if I wanted to shoot 45 Colt or ACP I would just use a Blackhawk chambered for such. Below is a picture of my Old Army. When you mentioned a loading press for it, I happened to think of this little press that came with a .44 cal black powder single action army that I purchased. It is pictured below with the Old Army cylinder on it. I hadn't actually laid eyes on it in 25 years. Took me a while to dig it out.   |
