My newest N frames (629 no dash and 28-2) sent me to Numrich for hammers and triggers. I've sprung for TK Custom and Power Custom parts in the past but these firing pins mounted in the hammer in these two makes them custom order and 2X the price. I ordered 2 hammers and two triggers for MUCH less than the custom parts run. Little hand grinder and bench vise are ready to play!

I happen to have the bobbed hammer and smooth trigger on my latest custom Model 25-2, The revolver was also converted to dao, with a very nice trigger pull. Kevin

I happen to have the bobbed hammer and smooth trigger on my latest custom Model 25-2, After reading Ed McGivern's Fast and Fancy revolver shooting I figured if he could shoot 5 rounds DA accurately with his "forward poke" in less time that it took me to thumb the hammer back and touch off one round, I was going down the wrong path. So for the most part I stopped shooting DA/SA revolvers by thumbing the hammer instead using "the double action method" :-) Any DA revolver I carry gets the hammer bobbed... my fave.

I'd bob them and use them. Then contour them to look smoother. Then contour them to match the frame.. Then realize "I don't care what it looks like, I want it as light/fast as possible."
