I like purpose driven or bought to fill a niche guns. If I had bigger hands a RH and a 480 Alaskan would still be here.

That front sight looks like it could be a handful to get it out of a holster. Looks like it would get snagged on the draw.

Find somebody local to make a Kydex holster. With built in multi attachment options. But tape a wooden skewer/chop stick to top of front sight, and across top of rear sight, and ya got a sight channel.

I LIKE those sights ! A different take on express sights, or the Glock sights. All rounded , dot and half circle looks to be more eye friendly.

My old eyes don't jive with the brass beads. Not for precision shooting anyway. Stumbled upon a Gunfightersinc chest holster in a trade with a forum member years ago. Liked it so much I now own a few. Midway carries them for common stuff but the company will make what you want. Also the company will sell you just the holster without the harness for about 1/2 price. And they swap out so quick and easy.
My little Ruger Alaskan family (44/454/480) carry so easy in this holster. Can't think of a better place to carry it for something that was coming to get me.

I wish it was easier to change the sight on a 629.

Shop around for a 629 with the DX front sight.

***** Fine looking sight. Fermin's beveled bead----appears to be a rendition of the Call bead by S&W----may provide a more consistent sight picture than S&W’s McGivern (spheric) bead. May be sprayed with flat black for silhouette, etc. David Bradshaw
