My local store has two one the silver color one the black. The action does indeed look like a 92 may try to get one down tommorow and do some looking. Both I think were 357's.

If you can get your peepers in one, I'd love to know how close it is to a 92. Not that some changes would be bad, necessarily, but I'm very curious. I like that someone is putting something out there which is affordable.
NO experience with this maker or this importer, so there are a number of unknowns right now.

I’d like to see what could be done with a mill and a file to make it more…….presentable

Dang, man, does it look THAT bad?
I just had my eyes checked yesterday and the Doc says they are getting BETTER, not worse. I know it's not 100% true to the 92 in the looks department, but I actually thought it looked pretty nice.
Maybe I'm being lenient because they're relatively inexpensive?

I don’t have a stock gun except for some target 22 pistols. Like post 64 94s need a little slimming down in the fore stock. Some things catch your eye. Things should be balanced. Nothing should catch your eye. And that’s my opinion……..like brass Gripframes. Totally against them before a friend started building a gun with me A buddy of mine helped him with a problem he had been having. Problem solved. I’m heading back home and he gives me the brass grip frame that worked. Last time I ever saw him. Now that brass gripframe means a lot to me.

OK, I get that. I suppose after I had one a while, I'd do the same - seems I always do. Sometimes it's a minor thing, sometimes it involves WORK.
I just modified a small Choate forearm for a Contender yesterday, because the lower/rear "ears" hang down into the trigger guard opening. That's always bugged me. Doesn't do any harm as it comes from the box, but it bugged me.
