HUNTER HOLSTERS, WHILE "PLAIN JANE" AS CAN BE, ARE GOOD HOLSTERS, REASONABLY AVAILABLE ON EBAY, AND USUALLY AVAILABLE FOR LOW PRICES, SO YOU CAN "MODIFY" 'em ALL YOU WANT.

Good to hear you guys praising Randy Miller’s work. I’ve been needing a chest rig for my SBH Hunter and had forgotten about Randy. I just texted him and he’s sending an order form. I’ve been enabled !

I never thought I would like a chest rig until I tried Randy's. Now I really like it for a deer stand.

I never thought I would like a chest rig until I tried Randy's. Now I really like it for a deer stand. Now I’m considering colors and hardware, basket stamped or plain, etc. I already knew he dabbled in leather work, I traded guns with him and the lever action I got had a butt cuff and sling that he made. I just didn’t know he was making holsters also. For a scoped revolver, the chest rig is the way to go IMO.

Lance Nixon of Nixon Leather makes all my rigs. The chest holster is new in this pic. The straps have 3 seasons of back country hunting on them with multiple animal pack outs.

A couple examples for red dots. I’ve used the Barranti a good bit and am very pleased.

Harold, the oxblood on bottom is a Simply Rugged Sourdough? But the top one....that is a direction I would like to go. That's a Barranti?

Great thread! I find myself in need of one also for one of my BFRs.
