I've been accumulating some brass and the weather's warming up a bit so I thought I better get this .38-40 built by Andy Horvath fixed up to suit my tastes a little. Just added a new rear sight, Clements bisley hammer and some Fishpaw grips out of the "black hole of parts". It came with a .40 S&W cylinder too. I'm excited about this one. Thanks to the generous Forum member who made it possible!  |

Bushhog, That is one sexy peice brother. I Know you are going to dig it! I built this one in the late 90s and was flabbergasted at the accuracy it dished out on a consistant basis. 180 Leads with 7.6 grains of unique and a Lee factory crimp die shoots like a dream. But then it will take a case full of H110 and make you question yourself on what you really need to hunt with. I have since built several more and have had the same response from customers. Holy Cow Man this thing shoots good, is the usuall response. Starline really fixed us up on these old Tapered case rounds. Kudos again Starline. And Lee FC Dies, I wont use anything else. R  |

But be advised, advocating for the use of the FCD may result in being admonished about how "real" reloaders can roll crimp without issue, lol.
