Stan.... somewhere there is a black & white photo of me holding one of the first-released Remington XP-100’s in 7mm BR Rem. That would have been 1979-’80. Jim Stekl developed the XP-100 7mm BR. I’d scoped it with the fine Leupold 10x target scope with AO (Adjustable Objective). I think it was Chub Eastman asked me not to publish the photo, as it might encourage bozos to try the same thing and invite a Weatherby eyebrow. I did it to load test the 7BR (handgun silhouette was iron sight only). David Bradshaw

Originally my old 223 Remington XP100. Reconstructed in the 90s as a 300 Whisper. Barrel and chamber work done by a, long gone, tool and die maker friend. Stock finish added by another buddy when it belonged to him for a short while. Kind of answers the "Scoped Handgun" question for me. I agree, it definitely answers the scoped handgun question. My XP has an M8-2x on it.

That's a really nice looking XP! I bet you could shoot a tick off a squirrel's ear from 100 meters....
