Last tag filled this week. Really nice sized doe fell to my FA M83 in 44 mag. 60 yard shot with a 240 XTP over 2400. Complete pass through and about a 50 yard recovery. Super blessed this season…5 deer, 5 revolver kills, and a full freezer. This was also shot with the new set up from Fermin. I’m REALLY REALLY regretting having the front sight deleted on both of my M97s…

Congratulations on your iron sight kills! I think irons are great if you have the time to wait for the right shot - definitely require more light on the animal than a red dot. Irons are even harder to see on pigs. It's hard to beat an iron sighted 5.5" FA 97 as a working holster gun. You can have one of yours cut and the sight added at FA - or better yet - buy a new one in 44 special or 41 magnum.

I wonder what FA would charge to install the front sights now?
Regardless looks like it was a fun season. Thanks for sharing the hunts.

Call Bob and ask him, not many companies you can call and speak with the president and get a straight answer from him. With all of the silhouette guns they have made I bet they would leave the trigger alone.
