You're killing me tearing up those maximums. Mine: #1 - 50th Ann BH gets a full facelift along with a rechambering #2 - OM BH convertable in .357/9mm sits awaiting a decision. Might get Bisley-ized but can't decide on the chamberings. #3 - not even a host gun yet but would like to have small caliber centerfire BH of some sort. Something larger than .22 cal but smaller than .357. Hmmm, I know they made a BH in .22 Hornet...hmmm #4 will eventually grab one of the stainless .17 Single Sixes and have it Bisleyized like my .22 Bisley Hunter.

PLUS THE POST ON A SHORTENED .414 HAS GOT ME STARTED ON A .41 DREAM. HAPPENED TO TAKE IN A TRADE TODAY FOR STAINLESS .357 THAT HAS HAD A BISLEY FRAME FITTED. SHOT IT TODAY AND AIN'T IMPRESSED ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS PUT TOGETHER QUITE DECENT FOR DIMENSIONS/ALIGNMENT. IF CAN GET SOME SHOP TIME HAVE ALREADY DECIDED THAT IT WILL GET A 17-4 5HOLE CYLINDER. AT PRESENT AM CONSIDERING OPENING FRAME WINDOW(.125) TO FRONT JUST ENOUGH TO SQUEEZE A 1.5INCH CASE IN BEHIND MY 235gKEITH AND HAVE SAY .030 CLEARANCE TO END OF CYLINDER. THAT SHOULD MAKE A SCREAMER IN THE 5SHOT FORMAT. CALL IT THE .410 ANY SUGGESTIONS?

You're killing me tearing up those maximums. I never even shot mine. Got it looking kinda rough, but under $500. It's at Jack Huntington's shop right now. Bisley / .512 / Hard Chrome / Black Micarta I'll post about this one cause it's almost done. I don't mind talking about them in the planning stages, but once I ship the thing off, I want to be able to set it out of my mind until I get a call that it's ready. Everythig else I'm working on has already been hashed about in front of this crowd recently, or has been shipped off.

Isn't a 445 necked down what is now known as a 41 GNR something or the other? That's what Gary Reeder calls it. Not that it matters, but I think the 41 B&M came first. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Well I received a call yesterday from AL that one of the projects should be headed home to Oregon this next week. Sent a 32 mag bisley to John and he did the conversion to 327 Fed, fluted the new cylinder, BP chamfered, removed the billboard, white lined the front sight and installed a Bowen W/O rear sight then shortened the barrel to 5 1/2". Dang I wish my wife could remember where she put that camera! ( No joke, it wasn't me this time who misplaced it)
Ironically I talked to Alan the same day and he is ready to start the 414 Supermag conversion and try the FA bisley hammer. The FA left for Houston yesterday so we can duplicate the top strap and rear sight so the Lovell mount will work on the Ruger. It should be fun to see how it turns out as well.
