About a year and a half ago, I found a good price on a stainless Bowen built Nimrod 5 shot chambered in .45 Colt (see "raining Nimrods thread). It was a beautiful revolver but it lacked a few features that I would have included if I had comissioned the build so it went down the road. Several months ago I took delivery of a similar Nimrod with the addition of white line sights and a deluxe action tune (read internal trigger overstop)as well as a little bling just 'cause.... Off the gripframe went to have Zane do some fantastic dall sheep horn grips for it and there you have it. It's a really nice one.   I really want to have the white outline sights now.  Finally, here is a family photo of my stainless 5 shot .45 Colts done by BCA. They wear grips from 3 of who I consider the best, some still with us and one not, Thompson, Rowan and Fishpaw.  |

That's perfect. Most of my SA bases are covered, but I need a Nimrod like that. Stainless for actual use, nitre for some class, and the best sight arrangement out there.
Not a thing I'd change about that one.

I don’t know?!?!………I’d kick that turd down the road to Texas maybe start all over again.
Nice clean looking gun buddy, should be a great one to start handgun hunting with.

Some day I might think about traveling to NM to see if the Bushie collection is real. Most times it seems too good to be true.
