opinions on a fair price (family member) for a used Kahr PM9? I see new ones are $600+? He could try to just give to me but Im younger/stronger and wont let him

450-500 is what I see them going for around here. And that's not often, they are handy and people hang onto them. I have one and it outshoots my K9. And my K9 is a shooter.

You could not get my PM9 for $500 bills. It has been my primary carry gun for probably 10 years now.

appreciate it, less than $500 seemed rather cheap to me. Seem’s like a handy and well made gun, he was looking to trade it or let it keep sittin in the safe.

negotiations are tense…. I offered him $500, he countered at $300…Ill have to sneak in a nice bottle of cognac with the deal. Apparently Michigan has an extra step when selling a handgun even privately, but it’ll have a new home soon

You'll enjoy it. I wasn't joking when I said my PM9 would outshoot my K9. My MK9 will shoot right beside my PM9, but it's heavy. But an extra recoil spring assy. When they break it's all at once. Mine broke in my MK 9 after 2,000 rds plus. Good News it broke at the range.

^ My Mk9, the first owner had to send it back because the slide / barrel hood area was eating itself up. They sent it back with a new barrel and slide. That's when I bought it. Not long after the new slide cracked between the barrel hole and the guide rod hole. (but never stopped working). They replaced the slide again. But it was very accurate, and had a wonderful trigger. But it was a little brick, pull yer dang pants down.
