My 480 SRH is one of my favorite hunting guns. Shoots under 2" at 100 yards with nearly anything. Looks like you have a winner as well. My favorite bullet in it is the Montana Bullet Works 385 grain NOE design. Same bullet as the old CPB 370 grain. Shot several deer with it and never had one take a step. Good find.

6 shots at 25 yards. These factory loaded Hornady 325 grain JHPs at 1350 FPS is getting old pretty quick.

The 480 Ruger is one fine cartridge. A few days ago, I fired a few rounds of Buffalo Bore's 330 grain Lehigh copper WFN and some of their 410 grain WFN hard cast, in an Alaskan that I have. The 330's seemed a little more jumpy than the 410's.
