They make great .44 Specials but not Magnums...
I have two 4" stainless, one .41 Magnum and one .45 ACP. One titanium 4" and one 6".
4" Ti went back to the factory twice for cylinder binding and has been fine since. All the others plus an additional 4" Ti .41 had no issues...

I always wanted one of these in 41. No earthly need for it but I think it would be a lot of fun to reload for.

They come up on GunBroker quite often...usually in the $750 area for stainless and $850 for titanium.
About the same size as a L-frame S&W, maybe a little smaller..
My Ti 4" is my walkin' in the woods gun loaded the Accurate 41-215V with 8.0 Unique in a Special case...right around 1000 fps.. .37 meplat

I had a blue 44 Mag in the early 2000's. Went out of time every 60 to 70 rounds. Back to the mother ship 3 times. On the 4th go round I was varmint hunting and a big sow came to piglet in distress and was swinging her head too much for a 90 grain TNT out of a 25-06. She turned broadside and I let her have a 240 grain factory load in the neck. Forgot I had never fired that weapon without ear protection before and got a 3 day headache. Down the road she went.
They pack BEAUTIFULLY. The rubber wrap around grip was FABULOUS. Just wouldn't stay in time no matter what I did; and I wanted a 44 MAG, not a 44 Special. And accurate as the day is long. I couldn't say about the stainless, but hopefully they got their gear squared away.

I snagged a blued model of this off gunbroker pre covid for a good price. You know one of those accidental "I won one of these" low bid things? It has been a decent gun with no problems as of yet. Handles 240 grain ammo OK and 44 Special just fine. I know... knock on wood.

I've always had very good luck with their Beretta copies, but friends and students like others here have had mixed feelings about Taurus designed handguns. There has been a SS model for sale in .44 for a long time nearby for a pretty decent price and it sure has had me tempted. But... with as many mixed reviews on Taurus guns in general, and Taurus not honoring manufacturer's defects to second hand owners buying used is not my cup of tea
