I'm more used to penetration measured in feet.

Where can I get some of that ballistic gelatin stuff? I'm curious to compare the 359-640 and the 358429 to each other in solid, small pin, and large pin side by side. It'll be fun and informative.

I think a ballistic gel slow mo of the impact of a lfn, wfn and a swc all at approximately the same velocity would be very interesting as well as the wound channel.

Maybe after I get my house finished I will take to such an endeavor, now I don’t even have time to shoot let alone cast or load.

My deer handgunning has been with .41Mag JHP or JSP, when I turn to cast lead I have a 215V from Accurate that is nearly a full wadcutter of WFN design and a group buy Lee 230gr LFN. I think they'd perform about equal, but the LFN seems more likely to break through both shoulders should a shot turn out that way. Only one way to know.

Am I onto something here?
Yes.
The way I see it, we have 4 choices: SWC, LFN, WFN, HPs. They'll do almost everything we need done
