I'd gotten on the list for a Lynx Frame in 2019. Marty honored the original price of $275. The second frame (Flatside) was purchased at the updated price of $395. So, I hope you're able to get a frame at the original price...
Marty told me some time ago that the original price would be held for "those on the list," but I never understood how the list worked or what it really was or if there were different versions of it. I ordered mine four and a half years ago. I THINK I placed an actual order online and opted to "pay later," not via e-mail or phone call. He mentions a "wait list," which I think started at some point after they started taking actual orders, so I'm a tad confused, but happy to see them being made.
He's sitting on mine, waiting for my FFL. My FFL must have dozed off on me, because Marty didn't get it yet, otherwise, I cold post a pic today.
Now I wish I'd ordered a flat-side. The lynx is different than what was originally shown and I'm very much not a fan of decoration on guns. The new lynx is a bit too stylistic for me. I'll be happy to get it regardless. I'm happy the gun is BACK - and spare parts too!

Agree, the Lynx is a bit different. But, it looks much better in hand than in pictures.
I'll likely use this frame on my 327 Federal Carbine. My favorite cast bullet small game rifle. It's only one notch below the 25-20 in my book.
This frame decor fits the intent of that gun perfectly.
Like you, I'm glad they're back. Supposed to be a Fleur-de-lis Frame in the future. That should be interesting too...

Thank you. I'm glad to hear that. I don't mean to complain or offend the artist or any who prefer it. The artwork is actually excellent. It just really stands out in the pictures. Still, something I'm willing to live with. I mean, I've been looking at the "clown-cat" on the side of a stainless original for several years without much angst. Even though that one looks a bit funny, it's part of the Contender, so it doesn't really bug me.
Man, WHICH barrel...
Yeah, I came across a hard-chromed original, not Armor Alloy, but supposedly something done earlier by JD Jones, because I thought the SSK50 would never happen. So, my small personal battery concept (three complete Contender Carbines) might just slip, because now I can't stop thinking about another barrel. I don't want the new action to lie fallow, but I have actions for the barrels I intend to support from here forward, so I'm passively shopping for a barrel.
My 357 serves as my "32," and I can shoot the 30/30 at 32 caliber pistol levels, which it does VERY well, but a 32 Mag still sounds SO tempting.
A no-optics 38-55 would be neat, it's deer-legal in Ohio and if I had to, I could use 30/30 brass. I already have a Williams Target peep sight too.
Another 357 Mag, with a tapered barrel and no optics, maybe?
I need to calm myself and let this steep so I don't make a rash decision.

Well, I hope yours comes SOON. This is such a neat project that I feel badly for anyone who doesn't have one yet.

I've been looking for a carbine stock set and have seen the Pachmyer grips on eBay. I will share that all of that stuff, regardless of where it is listed is rather expensive these days.
I have not seen a Rynite grip while looking, but I didn't realize they made one either.
Been thinking about this and it dawned on me that I've had a brand new 357 Max carbine barrel in my safe for over five years now, plus the scope base, scope and rings for it so I guess I just need a stock set.

Yeah those prices are high! Going to check the LGS pawn shop tomorrow, he's always had at least one of everything it seems. Plus I owe some more layaway money too lol.
I have a 41 mag and a 30 Gnr barrel that's been waiting on a frame.
