There's been lots of chatter about these frames for quite some time but who are new to this It looks like some folks might be able to get their hands on them soon.

Probably three of us then. I got on the list the minute I saw the, what, like three years ago? I didn't prepay and worry that they might forget me. I'm still ready for one, even though it's going to cost me another barrel/sights/stock set,...
If I actually GET one, I'm thinking that might push my 38-55/375W daydream toward reality. Don't really need one, but it sure would be cool!
I'd actually be happy just to HAVE another action, but having one cloned from the DNA of the old line would make me even happier just to see it come back.
OH! Thanks for the heads-up, kevshell!

Had my sons flat side frame in hand earlier this week. Very nice finish and trigger. We tried and shot about eight barrels on the frame the first night with only my 357 Max barrel not fitting. The barrels went from 22 to 45-70, 10 to 14 inch with one octagon barrel, minimum of 5 shots each to test function 75 shots total the first night. He has since tried 15 different barrels on the frame with only very light fitting for burs on the barrel recoil lug required on 2 barrel lugs, so it was a barrel issue and not the frame. We have a few more barrels yet to try. We also have 3 more lynx head frames on order son, myself, grandson's to try when they get here, hopefully by end of the month. Its been a looooooong wait but there is light at the end of the tunnel now.

Am happy to hear that for those who desire one! Lol, I could be very tempted myself but my fleet of older receivers let me keep assemblies I prefer set-up & ready to go with other chamberings only a barrel swap away. Glad the option is forthcoming for those with desire as I like many others never warmed up to the G2 version

That's my preference as well. Swapping a barrel isn't that hard and doesn't take that long, but I still prefer each barrel be mated with a receiver and stock set - ready to go.
The one exception is my 357 max barrel, which would be used a few days a year for deer season, and I"d put that on the receiver my 357 Mag barrel is on. I have yet to put a round through this 357 Max barrel after something like four or five years.
The big advantage I see in the easy barrel swap is that I have 100% complete spare parts kits stored in the form of a functioning action. If I ever have a problem, I can swap a receiver out and keep using the barrel I need until I fond or fix a part that I need.
That is why the SSK50 (if they remember me) is going to cost me some money. The price of the receiver is great, but I'll have to buy another barrel and stock set in addition.

Just today, on my way home from work, I was contemplating this whole thing and decided (again) that if it happens - if they didn't forget me or didn't somehow remove me or lose me on the list that I'd forget it.
At 5:53 PM, I got the e-mail to call to pay and provide an FFL. I saw the e-mail at 6:03PM and tried to call but got Marty's voice-mail.
Guess what the first thing is that I'm dong tomorrow morning!
I guess until I have it in my hands, I'm still skeptical, but I AM still hopeful that this thing will fly. I really want to see the Contender come back. With so many things being displaced with new wonder-cartridges and plastic-stocked rifles, plastic-framed pistols, etc., I feel like it's payback to the drones driving the output who seem to make up the bulk of the market we're part of.

Jeff, I received the same email. Called and paid for my Lynx Frame. Also, took advantage of the offer to purchase a second frame.
The only two being delivered right now are the Lynx and Flatside Frames.
So, I paid for a Flatside Frame to follow.
I look forward to reviewing and testing these out. I started out in my teens and pre-teens shooting Contenders. So, this will be fun...
UPDATE: After this post I received a tracking number and email stating the Lynx Frame had shipped...

I got an email too but mine purely said prices went up (they took many paragraphs to say it). I reached out about my name on the list and Marty couldn't give me an answer. He said there's a paper list and a computer file with a list. So who knows.
Looking forward to seeing yours.

I'd gotten on the list for a Lynx Frame in 2019. Marty honored the original price of $275.
The second frame (Flatside) was purchased at the updated price of $395.
So, I hope you're able to get a frame at the original price...
