Dang , actual polished parts, as opposed to the normal dog chewed rustic finish.

Yeah, the last one I got was a "special" of some sort, named "High-Polish."
This was the 3", 5-shot 357 Mag Pug. The whole gun is HIGHLY polished. Hate to criticize them for the effort, but I surely would have preferred the "dog-chewed, rustic" finish, but it's not really hurting anything. I thought I'd scuff it up with a Scotch-Brite pad in about ten minutes,... NO WAY! I even e-mailed and asked if these weren't chrome-plated. The nice lady who replied to me "no, they're just polished stainless steel." They are HARD.
I managed to tone down the top of the barrel rib with some 220 grit and a hard backer. Funny thing is - that 220 grit finish matches the "finish" I've gotten on most Ruger stainless guns I've had. I liked the old Charter finish a lot, but can live without it for the price.
That Chic Lady is pretty neat. I'm not fond of the color, but I sure wouldn't be ashamed to carry it. My wife's first center-fire handgun was a2", stainless, 5-shot 38 Charter with little, checkered wood grips. She would sit on a block of wood, put her elbows on her knees and shoot 2" and 2.5" 25-yard groups with that thing. Not just once in a while - every cylinder-full.
