Been a while since I've put up any photos of guns but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. Neither have the fine folks at Bowen Classic Arms.
A while back BCA purchased some python barrels and after fooling around a bit started offering to do GP100 conversions with them. As I couldn't leave anything well enough alone, I sent off a couple barrels to Al Segrist to be re-bored to .41.
BCA did a fine execution of a .41 special in this configuration. The barrel finished out right at 4 1/2" with the obligatory RC white line set up I like so much. These guns (I had one D. Clements did some time ago) will handle the heaviest of .41 special loads with ease and this one will gook pretty good doing it. Hard to see in the photo but the top of the receiver and barrel were matted to reduce glare and I like it. Finally, I added a set of custom walnut grips from our own Zane at LSCG. I have a twin of this one in stainless in the works also. Two is one and one is none!
