Bought a Uberti Callahan back in late 2013. Long since a fan of Uberti Guns, this was a must buy.
I've made a few improvements and modifications to mine over the years. More after Tim posts pictures...

Thanks Tim...
The first thing I did to this gun was add an auxiliary cylinder in 44-40 WCF. This is an unusually simple job with most Uberti Revolvers.
Interestingly enough, the 44-40 Cylinder had .4305" throats and performed better with cast than the 44 Magnum Cylinder.
The 44 Magnum came with snug .429" throats, so off went the cylinder to Fermin. It came back a tight .430", so it got Flex-Honed to .4305" to match the 44-40 Cylinder.
Eventually, I ordered some invitation ivory grips for the Revolver's 1860 Gripframe.
Made a pretty neat package for those preferring retro style guns...

Would be interested to see that grip frame compared to a few others. It’s very intriguing. Guess I’m going digging through Ronnie’s thread again…

I'm not sure on the round count. I probably should keep up with that better. I rarely push the Magnums because I just don't need it.
The 44-40 Cylinder is incredible. I've got some 20k PSI data that pushes a GT 220 grn HP to EK 44 Special Velocities. It does all I need...

I love mine. Bought it back in 2012 or so. I can't say I've put thousands of rounds through it. But every time I do shoot it, I get the itch to buy a second and convert it to .41 Magnum. BTW, does Uberti still make these with adjustable sights? Their website and catalog only show fixed 6" .44 Magnum Callahans. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Agree with that and would add the shorter barrel version given the chance.
Wish Uberti built more of these adjustable sight revolvers. Ditto on their excellent Flattop Target Revolvers.
Their "Beefier than Colt" dimensions and quality 4130 Steel Construction makes for interesting guns for handloaders...

Is this Model similar to the Cimmaron Bad Boy? I see the Bad Boy gun is made in 44 Mag & 10MM,& they even have a model with a second 38/40 cylinder. It also has an 1860-style grip frame, target sights & an octagon barrel. I have thought of buying one, but I already have two Ruger Buckeyes in 10MM & 38/40. I have never had one in hand, but at least in reviews I read people seemed impressed, especially at the price point.

The Bad Boy and Callahan are the same revolver except for the octagon barrels standard on the Bad Boy...

Just looked up the Bad Boy on Cimarron's website...my high school english teacher would cringe (its, not it's; whether, not weather)...ughhh
"The Bad Boy has a modern classic design with it's octagon barrel, Pre-War frame, Army grip, and flat top with adjustable sights. Weather you're a hunter, target shooter or just looking for some grizzly protection, the Bad Boy earns it's name."

I bought both the 44 Mag and 10mm Versions of the Bad Boy.
I don't care for the writing on the barrel, but they are excellent guns.
Added a 44-40 Cylinder to the 44 Mag and a 38-40 Cylinder to the 10mm...

I also have a 6” 44mag Bad Boy on the way. I wish it was named almost anything else, but I’m excited to try it out.
