Maybe one day... But then it took me 50 years to warm up to an aluminum alloy frame 1911. Don't think I have 50 more in me. Betting it didn't make it through the day. The buzzards were flying in a circle when I headed home.

Carried one of these as a duty gun for awhile. Never found a set of grips that kept it from beating up the web of my hand, so down the road it went. I should've held onto it longer as an investment 🙂

If my internet searching is to be believed it’s 28 ounces, nominal unloaded weight. Or about 10 ounces lighter than a 1911, with no reciprocating parts to spread the recoil impulse and no room for all fingers to control the gun. So it sounds like a handful! Although the “power to weight ratio” isn’t as punishing for the hand as with an alloy J-Frame (14.6 nominal) or LCR (13.6 ounces) shooting 38 Spl + P. It’s about double the weight of a snubby alloy 38spl, give or take an ounce or two.
I love the sights.
Not sure what to think about it. I get a strong “neither fish nor foul” sense, but I know these things can be much more than the sum of their stats. I’d be very curious to try a cylinder, but scared to buy to too.

Attractive, but the 28 oz weight may be a deal breaker. I've got a Lew Horton 3" M25 and it's perfectly agreeable for slow deliberate SA work, but start running some drills DA and it'll wear you down pretty quickly.
