As stated above, ti is strong, but susceptible to abrasion. I picked my M&P340 (with coated stainless cylinder - instead of Ti), for just that reason. I'd be willing to bet lunch, that some additional load development will produce accuracy that will encourage all local possums, to head out for the territories. Tried plated bullets yet?

No Sir. I was looking at reloading some powder coated pills. That is why I was checking the throats. I have other weapons probably more suited to the task but this one is just so darned easy to carry.

S&W did make a couple models of steel guns with Ti cylinders. Over the years I had a few people ask me about reaming them, and if I could do it. I always told them "I don't know and I don't really want to find out."
