A few years ago I was huntin at one of my favorite deer spots. It was December and right in front of me it looked like someone dropped a stone on a still pond.

You never know what’s flying thru the air,……my mother lives in a nice San Antonio neighborhood. A few years ago when her roof was redone, a 12ga. Brenneke slug was found imbedded in the roof decking. She lives nowhere near the country or anywhere where guns would be expected to be shot.

I do a lot of woodsbumming and hunting in the Brimfield area of South-Central Massachusetts. I find all kinds of weird stuff. I found a TV in a plastic wrapper miles into the woods.

Then I recalled the reason. In 2006 a tornado ripped through the area from Springfield to Oxford. It left a wake of destruction and you can see a swath through the wooded terrain.

So that is why I find things like TV's , pieces of corrugated roof, shoes et al.

I have spent alot of time in the mountains where I live in Montana. I worked for the Forest service and have actually been all the way around the world when I was in the Marine Corps. Seeing the air change in front of me like that?

I wanna hear mote about it. Ive seen a lot lately about bigfoot from reliable people i think its as hot right now as the ufo/uap stories that have been coming out

To tell more is alotta typing.
I will give the cliff note version to spare my thumbs.
My buddy and I were Elk hunting and it was getting late, we had alot of miles to cover to get out.
We were on top of a big ridge weighing our options, I suggested we take a ravive that would save us about 3 miles. The ravine is steep, full of old growth blow downs, 6' tall ferns and cedars that have branches that intertwine all the way to the ground.
We had been at the bottom of that ravine the winter before. It has a small creek that runs thru it and the deer winter there. We were shed hunting and found a bunch of deer hides, all spread out flat, hair up scattered over about 10 acres. No bones or heads. I wondered off into some thick brush and found another hide by a tree structure with a rib bone laying on the hide.
The rib bone hade a bite mark half thru it with clear teeth marks that looked human.
My buddy and I studied it awhile and left a little puzzled.
That spring while working another friend's ranch ( calving) while he was on vacation I caught an episode of some bigfoot show. They had 4 teams across the country studying Bigfoot hunting sights, damned if everyone of those sights didn't have the same hide up,no bone stuff we found.
Back to rhe shortcut, we head down the ravine, getting toward the bottom it gets marshy and thick before you hit the creek. We work our way thru the wind falls and close to where we found the hides. We both notice a horrible dead animal smell, but it's so overgrown you can't see anything. We work thru the ferns and hit this old overgrown logging road from the 1930's. We sit down on a cut in the bank to have a snack and something gets up from right where we just walked thru.
The unknown biped, about 50 yards back into where we came from, runs to our right and stops, we look at each other thinking Elk, deer, bear? Then we realize it sounded like a 2 legged person running.
A minute maybe goes by and then we hear 3 wood knocks, (beating a stick on a tree) I pick up a stick and do 3 back, immediate get a reply back. This goes on a minute or 3 while we hear steps and shuffling around. Then it goes quite, I knock again and nothing, just then a softball size rock comes flying out from where this thing was and hits the logging road in front if us, my buddy is freaking out saying let's go. I pick up the rock and throw it back as hard as I can, it is answered with another rock. My buddy gets up, rifle at low ready and says see ya. He slowly walks down the road, I follow him, the biped keeps pace with us. I pick up another rock and throw it toward the footsteps, then we hear shuffling and a log about 3-4 feet long about the diameter of your leg comes flying out at us.
We picked up the pace as then we knew it wasn't a person, no one could have thrown a log that big that far.
I've been back there several times, found some tracks, heard some wood knocks and found more deer hides, but haven't had that type of interaction since.
Sorry bout the length, shortened the story best I could.
I once followed a set of 15" barefoot prints in 3' of snow for 4 miles up there before I had to turn back. The tracks were so fresh you could see the dermal ridges in the toes!

This stuff always interests me (hence the username). Cowpuncher, your story contains a lot of elements that I've heard of, and not all from the same person or story either.

fre3, did yours take place in Oklahoma? I heard a story from up there where the air "changed" and there was a blurred area along with an ozone/electrical smell. The guy who experienced it gave me a map with the spot marked, but said I was on my own as he was never going there again.

Stranger Things. Maybe not just a tv show?

I used to live on the edge of the Honey Island swamp in Louisiana. There's a creature called Le Bete Noire that lives in it. It's not as large as a bigfoot is supposed to be, maybe 5', but I have seen the thing fleetingly and so have others who live there that spend time in the backwater area. The Native Americans that live there are afraid of it and say it eats people.
