A Leatherman SuperTool in my bird vest. Mostly been used to pull quills from other peoples dogs though. Early model, new ones with replaceable cutter are better.

My first thought was a leatherman too. Logic was same as other posters. Lineman pliers definitely do much easier job cutting; but leatherman less weight and more tools. I've cut a pretty decent amount of woven wire, barb wire, and high tensile electric cattle fence wire, and concrete wire over the years. Old rusty wire that is more likely in your situation cuts easier. Have done most of it with the leatherman wave I had with me vs. the lineman pliers in the truck. Wouldn't want to do lot with the leaterman; but...
P.s. i also have 4 leatherman waves in box ready to ship back for tune ups, broken parts right now too so... they haven't been babied.
