The craftsmanship of those gun is off the chart, much of it doesn't suit my taste but dang I can appreciate the skill and time spent. Amazing stuff...

While I know I would never end up with something like this, the craftsmanship is absolutely amazing and yet it's too much for anything that I would own.

Spuhr customized a Blackhawk with that same swing scope mount. It’s a bucket list configuration for me now. It’s a Recknagel mount and the two rifles I have with them return to zero as well as claw mounts but allow for a wider variety of scopes and scope positioning.

I can't find it online. I'd really like to see that.

Hakan Spuhr is a good friend and his work is terrific to watch, sadly he claims he no longer does pay jobs. Just for the love of tackling a problem or finding a solution. I will be visiting him in September in Sweden and look forward to viewing his shop and collection. Lately he has been working on LR gear for his girlfriend, who competes casually in that field and promotes his new bolt action chassis. I look forward to when he gets back to more traditional guns, he is a lover of classic old leverguns, pumps, and singleshots as well as old optics.

None of his ongoing projects would make any kind of financial sense, but as you said he just loves the work. The 2011 he's helping Pia build is ridiculous. The takedown No 1 is a gun I'd love to have.
