Being a Kimber fan, I would love to run one and find out.

I looked at the target a couple times and really like it. I'd like to get one, I just can't talk myself into buying one. 😂

Grant Cunningham designed the K6 for Kimber. I've had two sold them and miss them terribly. The 2" DAO with night sights is the one I am looking for. Overall size akin to a 640 J Frame with infinitely better action, sights, and a 6th round. Packed mine in J frame leather. Just outclasses the J frame so much. Midrange 357s are doable but I carried 38/44 loads in mine. Did I mention very, very accurate.
REASON I SOLD THEM WAS LOUSY GRIPS AND NO AFTERMARKET SUPPORT!

The DAO versions of it are nice. Bought the first one I ever saw. This K6S "Target" is stepping off in a pretty deep hole. The K&L frame S&Ws have it covered well.. CZ is coming on strong with available Colts too. The most significant bright spot I see is the price. For pure accuracy I'm not impressed with how I see the muzzle finished. I'd like to see it in a Ransom Rest with quality ammo to see what it can actually do. Maybe get a good PPC High Master to shoot the PPC course of fire with it.

I am not certain if I have personally laid eyes on the target model. I do like the DAO versions.

I like the looks, size and 6 rounds available that Kimber offers and the trigger DA is nice too. BUT, they dont point naturally for me one bit. Im not putting the gun down one bit, but form an everyday carry point of view my LCRs point more naturally.

Those big blocky sights are great for quick acquisition and flash sight picture. It's not nose heavy like my Colt KC 3" but much handier to carry, all surfaces on mine were "melted" I'm really wondering why I sold my 2". If you want a gun that doesn't point well I will sell you my Colt Night Cobra.

I have never shot one. Handled one in a gun shop in PA. Was impressed. Know of someone who bought one and liked it so much they bought another identical one.
