This is another true rosewood, and maybe the hardest to get too. It is very dense, and hard, polishes like glass. Some of the best natural colors I've seen. I fitted these to a RWGF brass dealer for my old model flattop. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Huey, I'm definitely looking for more of this, problem is the trees are very small, and finding some big enough is quite the challenge.

Nice! Goes well with the brass…
Is that one of the Griffon Hill red dot mounts on that pistol?

No, not all night, hell Ronnie I think I have fitted like 9, or 10 of your grip frames to my guns now. I'm starting to get it down to just a few hours. I love them, I think it's been said here before, just need more guns, so I can get more grip frames, but now stainless is going to add another tier to this.

Not a judgement, just a simple question. I have noticed you often turn the grain 90 degrees from the standard application. Any reason ?

Not a judgement, just a simple question. I have noticed you often turn the grain 90 degrees from the standard application. Any reason ? You must mean, horizontal vs vertically, I like the grain to run parallel to the barrel, and I like the way it matches up on the front and back straps, also working sizes are somewhat limited with exotic woods, like this Brazilian Tulipwood, it took me 2 years to find this piece that was large enough to get the panels from.

Best thing is we all learn together. I'm glad to own several pair of Trent's Grips. Think most of us are. Of course, there's always going to be one that complains. But, that's life...

Huey, thank you so much for your kind words, you are a true friend. I never will say that my work is perfection, that's why I only charge $100 for a set of grips, when you take in the cost of the material I use, I basically make nothing, I do this as an enjoyable hobby, and improve with each set, a big thank you to those who have given me a chance. I will tell everyone now, that there are imperfections , and each set takes about 5 hours to complete. Yes, there will always be that "one guy", but as you said, that's life, and I know how to move on.

Yes, there will always be that "one guy", but as you said, that's life, and I know how to move on. If you are refering to my "question" perhaps reread it. A simple question, no judgement, no inference. It is different and I just wondered why. Sorry if questions ruffle feathers.
