Thad's holsters are the original Rhodesians... Actually, Thad's are a clone of the original as well. It may well be that his are the original clone, but I rather doubt it. Either way, Rybka's are a fine execution of the concept.

That pic just above ? A thing I do with pics first seen, let my mind go blank( seems easier to do lately) and let a word or phrase, come to me. Quite handsome is what popped into my head. Oh, and that custom looks very content in that holster too.

There's three Rybkas there for about 300. This 1911 one is going to get silly.

Dang, this summer I sold an extra each of a 5” and 4” 1911 Rybka Rhodesians for I think $55-$60 each. If only I had that time machine handy and would’ve known.

I’ve got two left, the ones I ordered this summer. I asked him to make them a 1/2” longer to protect the muzzle a little better.
He did a great job on them.

As far as I know, Thad's Rhodesian is very similar the German Sickinger holster. There's a sticky on the 1911 forum dealing only with Rhodesian style outfits from assorted makers. Good pics and info. Also< I forgot about the Vider Nackling Kuda hide rig....It's similar also.
