Mid fifties production. You think J when you see it but then realize it is the slightly shorter cylinder I frame. Mid fifties brings on no model number but then close enough to the numbered guns to not have a strain screw which brings in a coil hammer spring... This one laid in the display case for years. Not cheap but not expensive either. Caught the boss out front one day and got the good ole buddy deal... Well used but not abused.
