One of my all time favorite pieces.
Excellent grip feel and the 8 3/8" balance is perfect for me. My 586 is as sweet as they come.
Outstanding accuracy.

Great shooters but 6" and longer are too heavy to pack as a field gun for me. Beautiful target guns.

I’ve always wanted a 586 or 686 no dash with the factory patridge front sight. I forget the reason for those revolvers, some kind of competition shooting in those days I believe (it wasn’t silhouette)

A buddy of mine has two 8,3/8ths 586 no dash revolvers but will not sell me one of them. I shoot my Model 27-3 8,3/8" better than he does but he refuses to sell. Maybe I should stick with my Model 27.
