I have one and like it as far as a 9MM goes. I like Glocks. It is a Glock.

Same height and lenth as a G19. I have Sheild 15rnd mag conversion and a Holosun 507K-G on my G48MOS. All of the slim frame guns seem to have tolerance issues in the frame, hence the lack of quality aftermarket triggers. APEX made one, recalled half of them and has not made anymore. Thinner than a G19, but not really any easier to conceal IWB. Good excuse to buy a gun though......

Hate to hear that about the tolerance issues in the frame. Ordered sights and looked for trigger parts. Didn't see much. FWIW in the early days of the G43 I saw issues on multiple G43s (mine, range gun, and a customer gun) of the trigger spring hook jumping off the crucifix. As a certified Glock Armorer, I questioned Glock. They reported that they had seen NO similar issues in the G43 but did send me a few trigger assemblies. ...AND since the early G43s I have not seen the issue in another one.

I not seen any Glocks that have had NRA Bullseye 1911 tolerances. I have seven Glocks now. Have had 3 others previously. They were made to "run" under adverse conditions. That they do even when very dirty. Will never see a Glock in the hand of a High Master NRA Bullseye shooter on the firing line in a real match.

A snubbier model 43X followed me home some time back. A couple of Shield 15rd mags too. But yeah, seems no rhyme nor reason to model designations.

Soulless tools is the best way I've heard them explained. I always close the conversation by saying I could ride half way across the Tennessee River bridge and Frisbee any one of my Glocks off the bridge. Might be a little distraught but I'd not cry. That same deal with one of my full up bullseye 1911s and I'd be strapping on SCUBA gear to go find them....

Axehandle, the slim guns seem to be worse than the standard frame or large frame guns ever where. As a Glock Armorer my self, I have seen alot of odd things with Glocks in 20 plus years, but they are good tools. The tolerence issue that I have seen is the placement of the pin holes. Both front pin and rear pin. Reminds me of the first inexpensive asian 1911's to come into the country, hammer pin and sear pin holes were to far apart. When you installed a good hammer/sear set you would have a gun that emptied a magazine real quick! The Ghost Inc. conectors for the slim frame Glocks do work. buy 3 connectors, install in 3 slim frame guns and be prepared for 3 different trigger pulls

Fun to play with.... Took some shots of the G19 and G48 to show the girth differences. FWIW the G19 is way too bulky for me to carry IWB. I carry open and BIG in a chest holster at work on the range. Pretty much anything hanging on one side standing on a concrete slab on the range for 9 hours gimps me up pretty quick. The G43 in a Crossbreed IWB is my best bet for concealment.

Shot the G48 a little. Ameriglo sights look good. Head shots on the reduced silhouette at 50 feet are easy enough but Trigger is too HARD for this old high master bullseye shooter. Looked for connectors and didn't see much. The Glock Store has a 3.5 Double Diamond connector. Suarez sells a face trigger for the little beast.

Give Johnny Glock a look ….he has some interesting parts. Only Glocks I have fired are the 43x mos and 48 mos. Triggers are horrible

So far..am liking the Shield 15rd mags for the 43X, requires a metal mag catch. Shields is slightly larger, better purchase, easier to use for my hands. A Night Fision front sight.
